You are invited to a forthcoming symposium at the University of Vermont, entitled “Ecological Complexity and Ecosystem Services: Opportunities for China – USA Collaboration”, which will take place on October 21 and 22 in Billings North Lounge, UVM.

This event will include an official delegation of 14 scientists from the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Chinese National Science Foundation, as well as 100 or more additional attendees from Vermont and other parts of the United States. The goal of the event is for the environmental research communities in China and the United States to forge stronger relationships and develop new collaborations.

How to Get Here

Gettomg to Burlington VT

Directions to UVM and Billings Student Center

Where to Park on Friday the 21st

You would be super lucky if you can find a Vistor Parking spot on UVM campus on a weekday. Therefore we highly recommand you drive to Gutterson Field House to park. We will hand out parking permits for the symposium and a UVM bus will be taking you all the way to the symposium building every 7 minutes. There is also going to be a bus take you back to the parking place in the afternoon every 15 minutes.

It will take 15 to 20 minutes to walk to the Billings building from the parking lot, if you miss our bus.

We apologize for the inconvenience.

For the 22nd Saturday you can park at any parking lot on campus.

Where to Find Lunch

On Campus, check out this campus dining map or you could always find serveral food verdors on the University Place, the street rightly outside the Billings building (only on Friday though).

Off Campus, UVM is within a walking distance to downtown Burlington market place, where you can find all kinds of lunch choice. Or if the weather is not so friendly for walking, take the College Stree Shuttle and it's free!
